About The Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Jr. Hardware Support Technician to join us.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic hardware maintenance and troubleshooting for government-owned and furnished equipment in compliance with CDC standards.
• Support staging, shipping, and installation logistics for warranty and non-warranty repair processes.
• Inspect and test repaired equipment to verify functionality before returning to service.
• Document hardware issues, repairs, and resolutions in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.
• Provide basic packing and crating support for IT equipment shipped for vendor repairs.
• Coordinate with senior technicians and logistics teams to ensure secure shipping and handling of IT assets.
• Assist in hardware support for workstations, printers, and peripherals across various CDC locations.
• Follow CDC security protocols and report any hardware discrepancies, damages, or missing equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory records for repaired and replaced hardware component
  
  

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field plus 0- 2 years of experience, or
• High School Diploma plus 6 - 8 years of experience
  
  

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
