About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Hardware Support Technician to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware maintenance and repairs for government-owned and furnished equipment, ensuring compliance with CDC standards and federal property management procedures.
• Obtain necessary approvals for non-warranty repairs, coordinate staging, shipping, and installation for warranty and non-warranty repair logistics.
• Inspect repaired items to ensure functionality and update ticket information in ServiceNow.
• Provide packing and crating services for equipment shipped for vendor repairs and coordinate with OSSAM for secure shipping and handling.
• Perform repairs on server hardware, including network file servers, application servers, and database servers across CDC data centers.
• Adhere to CDC security protocols and report any discrepancies, damages, or irreparable items promptly.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field with 5-7 years of experience, or
• Master's in Information Technology or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or
• PhD with 0-2 years of experience.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
