We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our team. This is a start-up environment backed by the largest meat producer in the world, offering an entrepreneurial challenge in a company aiming to lead in the retail food industry. As a Recruiter at Wild Fork, you’ll be a brand ambassador and the gatekeeper in sourcing, attracting and hiring talent for our culture. You will manage the recruiting life cycle from sourcing to onboarding to ensure successful hiring and retention of associates for your region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and HR leaders to determine best practices for recruitment by specific job requirements.
  • Customize job descriptions to identify top talent and keywords for sourcing.
  • Maintain knowledge of the complete recruitment function, including researching, sourcing, networking, behavior-based interviewing, and aligning with company values.
  • Become an expert in your market, understanding hiring trends, competitor landscape, and resources unique to your area.
  • Execute sourcing, screening, interviewing and engagement strategies to grow the pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness and utilize sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations.
  • Develop relationships with colleges, universities and non-profit organizations to raise brand awareness and participate in career fairs and events.
  • Support company internship program recruiting and hiring.
  • Manage candidate activity through Jobvite (ATS).
  • Disposition all candidates in a timely manner.
  • Assist other recruiters with difficult markets in finding candidates.
  • Schedule phone, in-person, or web-based interviews with hiring managers and other interviewers for qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate regional selection committees (panel interviews) ensuring all participants are present.
  • Follow up with hiring managers for feedback and next steps.
  • Prepare and present offer letters to qualified candidates.
  • Conduct background checks and arrange pre-employment drug screenings post-offer.
  • Send onboarding paperwork and welcome letters to new employees.
  • Partner with HR leaders to plan new hire training plans.
  • Conduct exit interview forms and relay results to Talent Acquisition.
  • Be prepared and flexible to perform related job functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Experience managing large requisition loads required.
  • Experience with ATS (e.g., Jobvite, ICIMS, Hiretual).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Wild Fork and our mission.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Strong relationship building and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
