About Role
The Sr Recruiter will support the full life-cycle of requisitions, from proactive sourcing to negotiating offers. As accelerates our digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced leader to be a key part of that process. This role will also identify and implement better ways of working, supporting diversity initiatives, and ensuring positive experiences in alignment with client\'s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Managing Editor's Office in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the newsroom.
- Manage and drive the full-cycle recruiting process, overseeing job postings, reviewing applications and managing candidates from initial screenings and assessments through final offer negotiation.
- Track and manage multiple recruitment projects in a fast-paced news environment.
- Ensure hiring managers are presented with qualified candidate pools that offer a broad representation of experience and background.
- Provide hiring managers with tools and best practices to ensure consistent interview and selection process across the newsroom
- Maintain a talent database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects.
- Foster strong relationships with business leaders to support proactive talent management.
- Be an expert in problem-solving for the newsroom\'s recruitment needs, with the ability to create solutions with the TA tools in place, and enjoy getting in the weeds to operationalize.
- Be an effective communicator who can influence busy newsroom editors and work effectively with the Global People Team.

Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in recruitment (some experience must be for a media organization, preferably a newsroom environment)
- Experience in full life-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates.
- Experience working with senior leadership on executive-level roles.
- An ability to think outside the box and solve problems creatively.
- Demonstrated experience using recruitment tools and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred).
