Job Summary:
The Construction Craft Recruiter will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract qualified and capable talent for the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, hiring and retaining of construction craft employees.
• Taking incoming calls and walk in applications for job opportunities and openings.
• Placing and monitoring ads thru the company website, applicant software system and any social media platforms.
• Reviewing applications, performing telephone interviews and screenings and scheduling interviews with qualified applicants.
• Onboarding of new hires to include all required paperwork, drug screenings and distribution of PPE.
• Representing the company at network functions such as job fairs and other outreach programs as they become available.
• Working closely with crews and current employees to meet the hiring needs of the company.
• Construction craft recruiting experience is required.
• Creativity in methods to recruit construction craft candidates for jobs is a plus.
• Additional clerical duties may be assigned as need arises.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to make independent determination of qualified candidates based on job descriptions and needs.
• General computer skills and knowledge.
• Good understanding of social media as it relates to advertising job opportunities.
• Self starter and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good organization skills.
• Background in successful recruiting and networking.
• Ability to research and find candidates for job openings.
