Custom Computer Specialists (CCS) is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you’ll drive our “Right People, Right Results” philosophy by sourcing, engaging, and hiring top IT professionals ranging from entry-level support technicians to senior engineers. You will leverage recruiting technology, data-driven strategies, and your knowledge of technical roles to deliver a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to develop detailed job descriptions and technical hiring criteria.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the process for a high volume of requisitions.
- Source and recruit technical and non-technical candidates through job boards, Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media campaigns, and direct outreach.
- Assess technical skills and cultural fit by reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screens, and coordinating technical interviews.
- Create compelling job postings that attract specialized talent in areas such as networking, systems, cybersecurity, and software.
- Utilize and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to manage requisitions, track candidate pipelines, and generate reports.
- Implement creative recruiting strategies including talent mapping, networking events, and university/technical school partnerships.
- Conduct and manage pre-employment assessments, background checks, and reference checks.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of CCS’s IT services and organizational structure to effectively match talent with current and future needs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring policies, and data integrity within the ATS.
- Support employer branding initiatives by promoting CCS as a destination for IT professionals to launch and grow their careers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on technical/IT roles strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit across a wide range of technical positions (Help Desk, Systems Engineers, Network Administrators, Technicians, etc.).
- Strong sourcing skills with expertise in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other advanced recruiting tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with an ATS (Taleo a plus) and proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and online sourcing tools.
- Strong academic background and analytical skills with the ability to assess both technical competencies and soft skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
