Optomi has launched a new program called the Acadomi to help recent college graduates jump-start their careers in the IT staffing industry. Through the Acadomi, starting JANUARY 2026, we are growing our organization with hands-on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Recent Graduate candidates will work full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. After completing the program, you will join one of our offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 3-month training program with experienced recruiters and account executives to boost your career in IT recruiting
  • Work closely with a Team Lead to develop sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates
  • Gain experience cold calling, interacting with, and prospecting new business
  • Build a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales processes to progress toward a Technical Recruiter role

What does a Technical Recruiter do for Optomi?

  • Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates who are actively or passively looking for employment
  • Conduct phone interviews to assess a candidate’s technical experience and fit for job openings
  • Format resume/submittal packages to highlight top skills for client review
  • Prepare candidates for phone and in-person interviews through in-depth discussions of questions, scenarios, and technical experience
  • Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for consultants and clients
  • Engage with candidates and clients to ensure successful placements
  • Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews and submittals to open jobs

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 0-1 years of professional experience – Training provided
