Summary

The Lead Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and supporting on-boarding for internal and external talent across all headquarters locations nationwide, while occasionally assisting with select positions at Ports and VPC facilities. With a primary focus on filling mid- to senior-level vacancies, this role serves as both a recruiter and strategic advisor—leveraging market insights, recruiting metrics, and best practices to enhance Glovis’ hiring strategies. The Lead Recruiter also plays a critical leadership role by mentoring junior team members, maintaining recruitment reporting, and ensuring the company consistently attracts, hires, and retains top talent aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to optimize all phases of the recruitment and on-boarding process
  • Manage requisition flow and applicant screening, providing guidance and support to hiring managers and leadership
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned mid- to senior-level vacancies
  • Oversee, mentor, and provide direction to junior members of the recruiting team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including hiring managers, HR, and leadership—to align recruitment efforts with organizational objectives
  • Facilitate and conduct candidate interviews, both virtual and in-person, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless on-boarding experience for selected candidates
  • Represent the company at recruitment networking events, job fairs, and other outreach opportunities to expand the talent pipeline
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality) to assess performance, support data-driven decisions, and drive process improvements
  • Source potential candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals
  • Support recruitment strategy by gathering feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending process enhancements for recruitment and on-boarding
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for future openings
  • Contribute to strengthening the employer brand by effectively communicating the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities
  • Stay informed on industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitive intelligence to adjust and refine recruitment strategies

Compensation

$68,000 - $74,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

  • Proven track record of successfully filling mid- to senior-level positions required
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching or mentoring team members preferred

Education & Experience

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • 5 - 8 Years of Experience Relating to Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Sourcing, and/or Reporting Required
    • 6 - 9 Years of Experience Preferred
  • Experience in Human Resources Preferred
  • 1 - 3 Years of Supervisor Experience Preferred
