The California Conservation Corps (CCC) seeks a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) to join the Communications Outreach Recruitment and Enrollment (CORE) Unit. The CORE Unit initiates outreach to thousands of young adults across the state and leads them through the enrollment process. We will also consider an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) for this role.

Position Summary: The Statewide Recruiter actively recruits young individuals to join CCC centers statewide, with a focus on recruiting and enrolling for wildland firefighting, forestry corps and other CCC conservation programs. This position requires using a state vehicle to travel for recruitment activities. The Statewide Recruiter uses CoRe (Corpsmember Recruitment Salesforce system) CRM to track engagement with CCC Corpsmember applicants and to analyze recruitment reports to ensure timely engagement and a smooth enrollment process.

Ideal Candidate: A candidate with strong analytical and public speaking skills who enjoys working with young adults. The role is dynamic, fast-paced, and involves diverse duties and deliverables that positively impact young adults aspiring to improve themselves and their communities.

Working Conditions

This position is classified as “Hybrid” and is eligible for up to three (3) days of telework per week, with a minimum of two (2) days in-office work. The reporting location is CCC Pomona Center, 3530 W. Pomona Blvd, Building 3, Pomona, CA 91768.
