Recruiter Supervisor
Salary: $64,000/year
Scope of Position: The Recruiter Supervisor will provide functional leadership to the Recruitment Team, ensure and monitor the Recruitment Team's compliance with program-specific regulations and requirements, and provide ongoing coaching to improve individual and collective performance.
Responsibilities
Provide services directly within the Business Service Team
Market services such as WorkKeys profiling and assessments, OJT, and usage of the system
Attend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings
Address human resource and staff concerns
Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately
Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues and communicate with staff to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
Analyze and understand labor market information
Contact employers by phone or in person and attempt to schedule face-to-face meetings
Perform initial and follow-up client visits as necessary
Develop and execute a marketing/advertising plan
Interface with other company departments and employees
Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
Develop a network for potential business leads
Attend Chamber events and other economic gatherings as necessary
Organize and attend job fairs, onsite and off-site recruitments
Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities
Conduct WorkKeys profiling as needed
Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
Identify and follow up on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities as required
Other opportunities as available
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 35 years of relevant leadership experience
Customer service experience required
Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
Good interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications products
Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations
Must have a current and valid drivers license and clean driving record
