Overview
Salary: $64,000/year
Scope of Position: The Recruiter Supervisor will provide functional leadership to the Recruitment Team, ensure and monitor the Recruitment Teams compliance with program-specific regulations and requirements, and provide ongoing coaching to improve individual and collective performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide services directly within the Business Service Team
- Market services such as WorkKeys profiling and assessments, OJT, and usage of the system
- Attend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings
- Address human resource and staff concerns
- Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately
- Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
- Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues and communicate with staff to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
- Analyze and understand labor market information
- Contact employers by phone or in person and attempt to schedule face-to-face meetings
- Perform initial and follow-up client visits as necessary
- Develop and execute a marketing/advertising plan
- Interface with other company departments and employees
- Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
- Develop a network for potential business leads
- Attend Chamber events and other economic gatherings as necessary
- Organize and attend job fairs, onsite and off-site recruitments
- Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities
- Conduct WorkKeys profiling as needed
- Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Identify and follow up on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities as required
- Other opportunities as available
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 35 years of relevant leadership experience
- Customer service experience required
- Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications products
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations
- Must have a current and valid drivers license and clean driving record
