Job Summary
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role for a large organization.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS platforms.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working with SAP and SuccessFactors preferred.
Responsibilities
- The HR Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by providing administrative and operational assistance across a range of HR functions while partnering closely with the People & Culture Business Partners. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, offering guidance on HR processes.
- Administrative Support: Maintain employee personnel records, manage HR documentation, and ensure accuracy in HR systems. Assist with document preparation and other assigned administrative tasks. Coordinate training sessions, track employee participation, maintain learning records, and support the rollout of development programs and tools. Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for all employee facing inquiries. Address employee questions and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality. Facilitate conflict resolution. Assist in fostering a positive work environment by providing guidance on HR-related issues, conflict resolution and reporting, and communication efforts. Serve as the point of contact for all compliance and investigation related activities.
- Compliance & Records: Manage document retention, audit bulletin boards for compliance, and maintain HR folders.
- HRIS and Data Management: Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy. Generate reports to assist in data analysis. Support digital transformation and process improvements.
- Disciplinary and Employment Action: Prepare and execute disciplinary and employment action with assistance from People & Culture Business Partner. Assist leaders with offboarding processes.
- Culture and Engagement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting company culture, values, and employee engagement.
Work Environment
- This role is primarily in person, office-based with occasional travel to support site events or training sessions.
- Reports To: People & Culture Business Partner.
