We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR functions at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities include:

• Organizational change, employee relations, succession and talent management, recruiting, training, employment, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The HR Manager will:

• Act as a true Business Partner with client management to provide guidance and solutions that add value.
• Handle questions regarding HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
• Administer HR programs, plans, and procedures.
• Monitor and advocate for employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
• Respond to employee relations issues promptly.
• Support APS culture, values, and organizational changes.
• Facilitate and provide training to the workforce.
• Maintain relationships with Labor Relations to ensure aligned messaging.
• Support hiring and termination processes.
• Assist with AAP hiring goals and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 6 years managing HR.
• Minimum three (3) years’ recent experience managing HR for 50+ employees, preferably in security or safety operations.

Preferred experience includes employee relations, unionized environments, policy administration, and performance management. Duties may evolve over time. Starting salary range: $81,000 - $99,000.

Pay: $80,512.00 - $120,000.00 per year
