Overview

The purpose of the HR Director is to provide oversight of all aspects of Human Resource management for The Hills Church.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Oversee payroll and benefit administration
  • Maintain organization compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Oversee and maintain up to date policy and procedure documents
  • Oversee and manage THC 403(b) retirement plan
  • Oversee Workers Compensation claims
  • Oversee Record Retention
  • Background checks
  • Collaborates with CFO and Executive Minister on salary strategies
  • Partner with Executive Team to identify staff training needs, development, and training plans

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required or related experience
  • Finance/accounting background a plus
  • Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM or HRCI)
  • At least five years hands-on human resource management experience preferred
  • Professional experience working with large churches a plus
