Overview
The purpose of
the HR Director is to provide oversight of all aspects of Human Resource management for The Hills Church. Responsibilities
Oversee and assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding Oversee payroll and benefit administration Maintain organization compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws Oversee and maintain up to date policy and procedure documents Oversee and manage THC 403(b) retirement plan Oversee Workers Compensation claims Oversee Record Retention Background checks Collaborates with CFO and Executive Minister on salary strategies Partner with Executive Team to identify staff training needs, development, and training plans Spiritual Gifts
Administration Service Skills
Organization Confidentiality Integrity Multi-tasker Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems, HRIS Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations Excellent written and oral communication skills Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required or related experience Finance/accounting background a plus Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM or HRCI) At least five years hands-on human resource management experience preferred Professional experience working with large churches a plus Spiritual and Personal Qualifications
