Hr Generalist

We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in managing various HR functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, leave management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate expertise in HR processes and systems to support our employees and organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with managers and leaders to identify and address organizational and employee needs.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates with relevant experience for various roles.
  • Handle benefits enrollment and administration for new hires and existing employees.
  • Process and manage leave of absence requests, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other employment-related matters.
  • Maintain and update HR information systems, generating reports as needed.
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend updates to policies as necessary.
  • Provide support in other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of cultural awareness.
  • Proficiency in Office software and HRIS systems, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of employee relations, benefits processes, and HR administration.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to changing situations and needs.
  • A strong customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
