Hr Generalist
We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in managing various HR functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, leave management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate expertise in HR processes and systems to support our employees and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers and leaders to identify and address organizational and employee needs.
- Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates with relevant experience for various roles.
- Handle benefits enrollment and administration for new hires and existing employees.
- Process and manage leave of absence requests, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other employment-related matters.
- Maintain and update HR information systems, generating reports as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend updates to policies as necessary.
- Provide support in other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of cultural awareness.
- Proficiency in Office software and HRIS systems, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of employee relations, benefits processes, and HR administration.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to changing situations and needs.
- A strong customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
