Summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a Human Resources professional to manage associate relations and drive HR initiatives at our Laguna Hills location. This role focuses on coaching, compliance, employee relations, and HR program development. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and team player with experience in HR practices and employment law.

Schedule Details
  • Location: On-Site, Lagunas Hills, CA.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday day hours with preference for extended coverage during later shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage AmeriPharma's coaching model, including investigations, documentation, audits, and the development of disciplinary actions.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and standards to both leaders and associates.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to promote understanding, alignment, and compliance across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership teams to strengthen HR's role as a strategic business partner.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to associates at all levels on complex employee relations, performance management, and conduct issues, aligned with AmeriPharma's core values.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll & Benefits team to deliver site-level support.
  • Design and implement employee development programs and initiatives to enhance internal growth opportunities.
  • Partner with business leaders to plan, execute, and support HR projects that drive organizational performance and engagement.
  • Oversee or support HR programs such as onboarding, new hire orientation, leave of absence management, ergonomic assessments, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct background checks, employment eligibility verification, license validation, and employment history checks.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and healthcare-specific regulations and requirements within the assigned jurisdiction.
  • Continuously seek to expand HR knowledge and stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Track, review, and document employee compliance with mandatory and optional training, continuing education, and competency assessments, including safety, harassment prevention, licensure, and certifications.
  • Stay up to date on HR best practices, employment law changes, talent management trends, and emerging HR technologies.
  • Support employees in navigating HR-related matters such as compensation, benefits, and leave policies, resolving concerns effectively.
  • Conduct personnel file audits and maintain organized, compliant employee records.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Skilled in authoring clear and compliant HR documentation.
  • Ability to take initiative, improve processes, and coach others in support of business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to influence, guide, and develop others.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and HRIS systems (ADP and Paychex preferred).
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
