FSA is hiring: Records Examiner / Analyst Supporting the FBI in Los Angeles

Responsibilities

1. Reviews and evaluates data and information from multiple sources.
2. Confirms completeness of received data/information and resolves inconsistencies.
3. Accurately enters required data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
4. Creates case/project files.
5. Manages validation and verification of case files and case data system.
6. Keeps track of case file status to confirm compliance with deadlines.
7. Handles requests for additional information as needed.
8. Prepares documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format.
9. Manipulates, transfers, computes, and prints information.
10. Prepares and modifies reports and correspondence using word processing software.
11. Provides timely status updates.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Note: Preference will be given to applicants with a current and active Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

1. Undergraduate degree, or High School Diploma/GED with two years' experience.
2. One-year experience in asset forfeiture or related law enforcement field (including legal and military experience).
3. Ability to understand the organization and functions of the customer.
4. Project and workload management skills.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Ability to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data from complex documents.
7. Strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills.
8. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); advanced skills preferred.
9. Commitment to providing excellent customer service, positive and flexible attitude.
10. Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a minimum background investigation of 7 or 10 years.

Note: The 20% pay differential depends on the customer's order for services and requires an active Top-Secret security clearance.

Candidates with a current Top Secret clearance are strongly preferred.
