We are seeking a Sanitation Specialist to join our expanding team. Your role involves cleaning and organizing the plant and facilities, supporting our mission to maximize customer satisfaction for both internal and external clients.
Starting pay is: $17.00/hr plus a $0.50 shift differential
Shift begins at: 3:00 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean rooms, hallways, corridors, stairways, waste docks, and other production areas.
- Sweep, scrub, and maintain all walkways inside the plant, ensuring they are debris-free using janitorial supplies and equipment such as mops, buckets, cleaning chemicals, brooms, floor scrubbers, and dusters.
- Empty wastebaskets, boot scrubbers, and foot baths; replace trash liners, paper towels, and replenish supplies daily.
- Identify areas requiring special attention for spot cleaning.
- Provide re-sanitation and sanitization of production equipment as needed.
- Monitor back dock dumpsters; call for disposal when full (cardboard & plastic) or half full for organic waste.
- Transport and dispose of trash to the waste disposal area (up to 35 pounds).
- Maintain a neat and orderly supply room; advise purchasing when supplies are low.
- Receive and store inventory from vendors/suppliers.
- Replenish packaging room supplies such as gloves, sleeve protectors, masks, hair nets, and other PPE.
- Monitor trash and debris daily.
- Always wear appropriate PPE during janitorial activities.
- Perform all duties safely, aiming for zero safety incidents monthly and annually.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs infrequently.
- Highly motivated and energetic.
