We’re seeking a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor to help maintain clean and safe lodge facilities during the winter season, ensuring every guest enjoys their time on the mountain.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor, you’ll play a key role in providing guests with a positive lodge experience by ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. From keeping dining areas tidy to ensuring bathrooms are stocked and walkways are clear, your work helps create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the mountain.
A Day in the Life
You’ll start your shift in one of the bustling Bogus Basin lodges, greeting staff and checking your assigned areas. Throughout the day, you’ll clean dining spaces, restock bathrooms, remove trash, and help keep walkways safe from snow and ice. Along the way, you’ll assist guests with questions or direct them to the right department. At the end of your shift, you’ll know you helped make the lodge feel like home for thousands of mountain visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Janitorial & Facility Care: Maintain a neat and clean condition of all assigned areas, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
- Clean and restock bathrooms, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in lodge common areas.
Safety & Guest Support
- Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Assist guests with questions or concerns, or direct them to supervisors/managers.
Other Duties
- Perform other related tasks as necessary.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Passion for Bogus Basin’s mission.
- Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently and accurately with or without supervision.
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand, balance, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required.
- Ability to lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to perform cleaning and stocking duties.
- Ability to work the full winter season (mid-October through mid-May).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
