Are you a hardworking team player passionate about creating a welcoming environment for guests? At Bogus Basin, the largest nonprofit Mountain Recreation Area in the nation, we offer a unique space where community meets the mountain. We are seeking a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor to help maintain clean and safe lodge facilities during the winter season, ensuring every guest enjoys their time on the mountain.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in providing guests with a positive lodge experience by ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. From keeping dining areas tidy to ensuring bathrooms are stocked and walkways are clear, your work helps create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the mountain.

• Janitorial & Facility Care: Maintain a neat and clean condition of all assigned areas, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in lodge common areas.

• Safety & Guest Support: Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Assist guests with questions or concerns, or direct them to supervisors/managers.

• Other Duties: Perform other related tasks as necessary.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Passion for Bogus Basin's mission.
• Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently and accurately with or without supervision.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, balance, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required.
• Ability to lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to perform cleaning and stocking duties.
• Ability to work the full winter season (mid-October through mid-May).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
