Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

A Venture Capital Firm in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a poised and proactive Executive Assistant to support a Senior Managing Partner and their high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established VC. The firm focuses on high-growth sectors including fintech, SaaS, and AI, and operates with the agility of a startup and the stability of a large financial platform. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in providing direct support to the Senior Managing Partner and two additional Partners, while offering light ad hoc assistance to a few other team members as needed. This is a true EA role with a mix of classic executive support and occasional hands-on office coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Managing Partner and two Partners
• Manage complex calendars, prioritize meeting requests, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Arrange domestic and occasional international travel
• Handle expense reporting and reimbursements
• Assist with light event logistics and ad hoc project coordination
• Support a collaborative team environment by stepping in occasionally to help with office needs such as greeting guests or coordinating catering
• Be available for occasional overtime, while enjoying a role with strong balance overall

Qualifications:

• 4–8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant. Venture capital, finance, or a startup environment a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Impeccable communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor
• Positive, warm, and mature energy; highly collaborative and proactive
• Ability to work across time zones and coordinate with both in-office and remote colleagues
• Strong discretion and comfort handling confidential information
• Must be comfortable with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday

100,000 -120,000 YR
