Description
NexPoint is seeking an Executive Assistant with 3+ years of relevant experience preferably supporting finance or legal senior professionals. This position will be working with our national accounts and marketing teams and requires a highly organized, motivated, and polished go-getter who will interface with both internal and external professionals at every level. Successful candidates will be conscientious and efficient with a “can do” attitude.
Responsibilities
- Ability and poise to interact on a daily basis with internal and external c-level executives as well as clients and prospective clients
- Plan, coordinate, and support meetings, conferences, and property tours.
- Arrange travel (flights, hotels, dinners) for executives and at times clients.
- Coordination of media appearances, speaking engagements, and interviews
- Prepare reports, email communication, and pitch books
- Maintain calendaring and schedule for executives
- Facilitate expense reimbursement in a timely manner for executives
- General office duties (i.e. filing, faxing, copying, letters, in-bound/out-bound phone calls, preparing/composing updates, supply room/kitchen stocking, ad hoc projects, etc.)
- Assist Administrative Team in planning and execution of firm events and other special projects
- Perform other business-related duties as needed in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years of strong experience supporting executive level management preferably in the finance or legal industry
- Bachelor’s degree required from a creditable school
- Service oriented, conscientious personality
- Strong multi-tasking, follow-through skills and a sense of urgency
- Flexible, polished, professional and outgoing
- Ability to thrive in an independent, entrepreneurial, relatively unstructured environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Must exhibit high degree of discretion as relates to safeguarding confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
