Are you a proactive Executive Assistant looking for a new challenge? LHH is seeking an experienced candidate for a new opportunity in the Northern VA area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting multiple executives and a team. They should be well-organized and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. This is an onsite position, Monday-Friday in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including filing, directing requests, preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings and calls, managing calendars, and presenting a positive organizational image.
  • Compile and edit sensitive documents, memos, and legal materials for accuracy in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and format.
  • Reconcile the department budget monthly and prepare funding requests as needed.
  • Schedule travel and prepare expense reports using Concur.
  • Fulfill specific departmental tasks and manage accurate files and records.
  • Handle special projects, process mail, review invoices, and manage office supply purchases.
  • Support multiple individuals within the department simultaneously.

Education & Training Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; AS/BS/BA preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Other Requirements

  • Excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills, able to interact effectively at all seniority levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and exercise professional judgment.
