Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Care Plan Implementation
• Understanding of Dementia - Knowledge of different types of Dementia, their symptoms, and progression to provide appropriate care.
• Emotional Support - Building a trusting relationship with those under their care.

Qualifications

• Alzheimer's care: 3 years (Required)
• Locked Unit Experience
• Must be able to work weekends
• Possess patience, sensitivity, and compassion for people who have lost the ability to control emotions
• Current TB Test
• Home Care Aide Certification (Required)
• Driver w/ valid car insurance
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
