Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a memorable experience, with a focus on customer service
• Ability to be a cook in the kitchen and/or a crew member who assists with daily operations
• Knowledge of proper safe handling techniques for all food or chemicals used
• Anticipate kitchen member needs by evaluating the environment and responding to cues
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchens, loading dock, dumpster and utility work areas
• Assist with receiving deliveries on behalf of the restaurant team
• Complete daily and weekly checklists
• Maintain a proactive approach to the health, safety and security of all staff
• Be vigilant for hazards and alert a manager as necessary
• Greet guests and provide a welcoming experience; resolve guest issues when necessary
• Share positive energy and enthusiasm with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
• Collaborate with crew members to support overall team success

Qualifications

• Fun, friendly personality with a strong customer-service mindset
• Comfortable talking to strangers and communicating verbally; not relying on text messaging for customer interactions
• Attitude and reliability; understand the need to be on time
• Energetic, with the ability to work well in a team
