Olathe South Panera Bread is looking for a full-time or part-time crew member to join our team in Olathe, KS.

As a Panera Bread crew member, you can be the smiling face that greets and serves our guests or a cook who makes things happen in the kitchen. Training will teach you everything you need to succeed on the job, and you’ll have opportunities to learn new skills and be recognized for your efforts.

We’re looking for people who are friendly, enjoy serving customers, and take pride in their work. Verbal communication is important, and you should be comfortable talking to guests. Punctuality and a positive attitude are valued, along with teamwork and energy to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of proper safe handling techniques for all food or chemicals used
• Anticipate kitchen member needs by evaluating the environment and responding to cues
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchens, loading dock, dumpster and utility work areas
• Assist with receiving delivery of product on behalf of the restaurant team
• Complete daily and weekly checklists
• Maintain a proactive approach to the health, safety and security of all staff
• Be vigilant for hazards and alert a manager as necessary
• Greet guests and provide a memorable experience
• Resolve guest issues when necessary
• Share positive energy and enthusiasm with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
• Work as part of an overall team to support the success of Panera Bread
