Little Harvard Academy is looking to hire a lead teacher for our toddler classroom (two's class). We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, manage classroom behavior, and provide individualized attention to each child.

Duties

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social-emotional development
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities and events
  • Utilize technology and other teaching resources to enhance student learning
  • Provide support and guidance to students with special needs or behavioral challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
