Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This role requires diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery without the need to call an electrician.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.

• Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery or systems.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.

• Order parts and equipment necessary for repairing and maintaining machinery.

• Work with a team to maintain production schedules and meet objectives.

Essential Skills

• Experience with motors, hydraulics, VFDs, 3-phase, and 480V systems.

• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery.

• Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics.

• Basic knowledge of inputs and outputs.

• Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical systems, including 480V and 24V troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with MaintenX.

• Proficiency with ERP systems.

• Basic computer experience.

Pay is 30-35 an hour based on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
