Job Title: Project Management Assistant

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Type of Employment: Direct Hire

Compensation: $20–22/hour

Job Description

Addison Group is seeking a Project Management Assistant for our client in the Fort Worth area. This is a newly created role designed to support a growing team of Project Managers in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in construction or industrial project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project documentation including schedules, logs, and cost tracking
  • Assist with managing RFIs and change orders, including coordination with estimating and project teams
  • Input and track invoices and financial data
  • Support the estimating department with data entry for project bids
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients as projects progress
  • Contribute to process improvements and team efficiency
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate project execution

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support within a construction or industrial setting
  • Familiarity with project management or BIM software (e.g., Tekla, Procore, Revit, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with solid math aptitude and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Tekla or similar Trimble systems
  • Interest in growing into a Project Manager role over time
