Location: Essex area - (SS8 : Canvey Island/ Castle point)

Shift: Must be able to work Monday to Sunday

From 5am

Class II Refuse Drivers with CPC & Digi Tacho

HRGO Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Dustcart/Refuse Drivers to work within the Essex area.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dust Cart/Refuse Driver to join our waste management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and transportation of waste and recyclables from residential and commercial areas to designated disposal sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a dust cart/refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste and recyclables from designated routes and ensure timely completion of collections.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the public.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading and unloading waste and recyclables as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any queries or concerns from the public in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety

Requirements:

• Valid full UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPC and tacho Digi card
• Experience in driving large vehicles, preferably in waste collection or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to waste management.
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
