Job Description: Lindsay Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within the dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  2. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and organized.
  3. Assist with payroll processing and related tasks, including timekeeping and employee deductions.
  4. Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
  5. Assist with inventory management, including recording inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  6. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and answering auditor inquiries.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  2. Previous experience in an accounting or finance role in a Car Dealership
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Knowledge of ADP and CDK preferred
