Ledgent is hiring: Accounting Manager - Property Accounting in Irving

Overview

Growing real estate firm located near Dallas is looking for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, month/quarter/year-end close, inter-company, account, and bank reconciliations, as well as financial reporting. Additional duties for the Accounting Manager include performing sales tax calculations, loan compliance, analyzing fiscal budgets, collaborating with corporate business partners and internal staff, working closely with internal and external audit teams, and conducting revenue recognition duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and lead month/quarter/year-end close processes.
• Perform inter-company, account, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reporting.
• Perform sales tax calculations and loan compliance.
• Analyze fiscal budgets and collaborate with corporate business partners and internal staff.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams and conduct revenue recognition duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Commercial real estate experience required.
• At least four years of finance and accounting experience with strong technical accounting and finance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Yardi or MRI and advanced MS Office skills.

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year plus bonus.
