Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the general ledger, month-end close process, and internal and external financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare revenue and amortization accruals to support accurate revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on cash flow forecasting and production finance planning.
  • Support audits, tax filings, and special projects in coordination with external advisors and the Controller.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2+ years in entertainment accounting.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of GAAP, production accounting, and deferred revenue.
  • Show proficiency in ERP systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, Business Central, or SAP.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling tools to support reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with union/guild reporting, residuals, participations, and audit obligations.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  • Work independently while managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Adapt to fast-paced environments and proactively develop process improvements and accounting policies.
  • Preferably have experience with production companies or entertainment payroll systems.
