Accounting Manager

Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in a hybrid role. This position will play a critical part in streamlining our accounting processes using Workamajig, which we rely on to automate workflows and provide the reporting insights our firm needs. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including monthly client billing and vendor payments. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
  • Oversee client billing on a monthly cycle and ensure accurate, timely invoicing
  • Process and track bills from software and service subscriptions
  • Monitor and manage company credit card transactions
  • Utilize Workamajig to automate processes, improve reporting, and support overall efficiency
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership, including monthly and quarterly summaries
  • Ensure proper internal controls and support compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience; prior experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Proficiency with Workamajig is a plus
  • Strong understanding of billing processes and vendor management
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration in a hybrid work environment
