Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with a solid technical background in billing and reporting related to projects. Responsibilities include contract management, billing inquiries, bill rate modifications, payment status, and project costs. Experience with Deltek software, Vantagepoint, Vision, or Ajera is a plus. ODOT experience is also beneficial.

The role involves supporting management with preparing, analyzing, and presenting various reports for multiple projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in project accounting/billing, preferably in construction, trades, A/E professional services, environmental, engineering, or architectural firms.
• Several years of project billing experience.
• Understanding of contracts, contract management, and changes, with the ability to explain these to staff.

Responsibilities

• Project initiation, budgeting, expenditure tracking, invoicing, status reporting, unbilled costs management, purchase requisitions, percent complete updates, and accounts receivable.
• Work with project managers on contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
