Accounting Manager/$$$/Innovative opportunity!!

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Job details: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal to the financial health of our company and plays a key role in managing the overall financial operations. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting operations, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Develop and manage financial systems and policies
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Manage the company's cash flow and predicting future trends
• Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future
• Oversee the company's financial and treasury systems, working closely with IT to drive enhancements and system implementations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
• Knowledge of GAAP, automated financial and accounting reporting systems, and federal/state financial regulations
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
• Working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and operationally
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage several projects
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in and facilitate group meetings
• Ability to delegate authority and responsibility
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
