Overview

We are seeking a driven Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager ready to take the next step into a Controller role. This Miami-based position offers the opportunity to oversee the financial operations of a multi-entity hospitality organization while playing a pivotal role in financial strategy, compliance, and executive decision-making. This role includes approximately 10% travel to support operations across multiple locations.

Compensation

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting: general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
• Oversee profit and loss across business units, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting
• Lead month-end and year-end close, audits, and external reporting in compliance with US GAAP
• Strengthen internal controls, compliance processes, and risk management frameworks
• Partner with leadership on strategic planning, financial modeling, cost control, and KPI reporting
• Direct cash flow, intercompany accounting, and tax compliance
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with multi-entity consolidation
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, audit processes, and internal controls
• Advanced skills in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel/reporting tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-financial stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
