ACCOUNTING MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations of accounting department
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures
  • Improve accounting processes
  • Train accounting staff on Dynamics GP and best practices
  • Manage Month End, Quarter End, & Year End Close
  • Update & maintain monthly closing checklist & quarterly review schedules
  • Prepare Monthly Financials, Budget vs Actuals, Quarterly Rollforwards, and Financial Summary
  • Prepare Budgets for State Licenses
  • Prepare Annual Budget and Forecasts (2+10, 5+7, 8+4, 10+2)
  • Quarterly payroll audit
  • Manage annual audit or reviewed financials
  • Oversee CapEx (schedule updated monthly by Senior Accountant)
  • Oversee Loan schedules
  • 401k Administration and Annual Audit
  • Taxes
  • Ad Hoc Analysis

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

  • Build out financial reporting in Management Reporter
  • Implement Solver (for Budgeting and Forecasting)
  • Learn Expensify (corporate card reporting) and propose update to reporting structure and approval workflows to match our operations
  • Project Manage implementation of AP automation
  • Project Manage Bank Rec Automation
  • Petty Cash Process Review
  • Client Funds process Review
  • Month End Process Review
  • Automate Daily Cash process
  • Manage Process Documentation in Notion

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft applications
  • A clear understanding of and the ability to demonstrate professional ethics, boundaries, and judgment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to handle a diverse population.
  • Knowledge of addiction and the addictive process.
  • Good writing skills including good grammar, good spelling, and
  • legible handwriting.
  • CPA Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
