Essential Job Duties

  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports.
  • Input financial data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing and payment issues.
  • Monitor, assist and distribute correspondence in the various company email boxes.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts; reconcile discrepancies; and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Accurately enter and maintain financial data in accounting software; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Work closely with other departments to support financial operations and resolve issues.
  • Manage accounting systems and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Assist with handling expense reports and employee reimbursement requests.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document processes and assist in training new team members on financial procedures.

Job Specifications

Experience: Two years experience in general accounting preferred.

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Physical Efforts: Must be able to move/lift equipment weighing up to 20lbs. Other physical efforts may include but not limited to carrying weight, lifting, seeing, hearing, talking, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion/dexterity, and other physical requirements as required by the position.

Working Conditions: Due to the environment, working conditions may include but not limited to exposure to chemicals, regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, spills, fumes, and noise.

Safety Measures: All employees are expected to follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.

Hours of Work: Full-time with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Travel: No travel is required for this position.
