The Financial Analyst reviews, prepares, and maintains Savant Group’s financial reporting across multiple entities. The role applies accounting concepts to support planning and control, provides analytical and forecasting support to leadership, contributes to daily accounting transaction workflows, and prepares periodic financial reports for a defined set of program customers. The responsibilities and duties described in this job posting are meant to provide a general overview of the position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks, duties, and skills required. Key Responsibilities
Post journal entries and accruals; reconcile accounts (including bank, intercompany, payroll, and clearing); ensure an accurate, timely month‑end close; oversee expense reporting. Prepare concise, accurate financial summaries for assigned program customers and respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests. Prepare multi‑entity consolidated monthly financial statements and a concise management package; deliver key metrics and variance analyses vs. budget/forecast/prior periods; maintain decision‑support models and dashboards. Build and maintain a 13‑week direct cash‑flow forecast at entity and consolidated levels; partner with AP/AR to update expected receipts/disbursements, model scenarios, and flag funding risks/constraints; prepare a weekly liquidity summary for leadership. Participate in the development of multi‑entity and departmental budgets. Perform general cost accounting, including calculation of labor and burden rates and completion of standard cost updates in the ERP system. Assist with annual and rolling forecasts and partner with the Director of Finance on financial plans and operating forecasts. Assist the Director of Finance with internal and external auditor requests by compiling audit‑ready workpapers/reconciliations and support schedules, facilitating walkthroughs and sample testing, and driving timely resolution of observations. Use ERP and reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Global Shop; Power BI/Excel) to automate reports and improve data quality; contribute to ERP data hygiene and master‑data governance. Ensure GAAP compliance; document and improve internal controls and accounting policies. Perform cross‑functional ad‑hoc duties and projects as requested. Stay current on industry/regulatory changes; streamline and automate reporting/forecasting; enhance data quality and processes. Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. At least four years experience in finance or accounting required. Two years in a manufacturing environment preferred. Advanced Excel (pivots, lookup/index‑match, modeling) desired; Power BI or similar BI; ERP proficiency (QuickBooks, Global Shop); strong GAAP; experience with standard costing, WIP/unbilled AR, deferred revenue, and revenue recognition. Ability to investigate variances, perform root‑cause analysis, build models, and convert insights into clear recommendations and actions. Must have experience in prioritizing and meeting deadlines across multiple stakeholders; delivers accurate, high‑quality work with appropriate independence and accountability. Maintains accurate master data and documentation; uses standardized templates, version control, and audit‑ready workpapers. Possess cultural competency and the ability to work professionally when communicating in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. Able to foster good team dynamics and collaboration, and to be flexible implementing daily work. Exhibits good oral and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work through last‑minute changes as necessary. Possess a self‑starter and can‑do attitude. Ability to take initiative without being told what to do in every situation. Travel Requirements
Position may require up to 5% travel. Travel is based on company needs; domestic and international travel. Benefits
