Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $50.00 to $57.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Staff and Senior Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the accounts receivable/payable close, month-end close, audit requests, and reconciliations.
• Prepare mid-month and month-end reports along with various ad-hoc accounting schedules and analyses.
• Manage the accounting integration and consolidation processes, including systems, policies, and internal controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting management, and 2+ years of team supervision.
• Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and reporting; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Apply knowledge of deferred revenue and deferred cost accounting, especially in compliance with ASC 606.
• Perform month-end close and audit preparation tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
• Showcase strong analytical skills and attention to detail in all financial processes and reconciliations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Hold a BA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA certification or progress towards it.
• Exhibit advanced Excel skills, including functions beyond VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
• Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Understand US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements thoroughly.
• Prefer experience in SaaS, manufacturing, or IoT industries with familiarity in inventory and software development accounting.
