About The Company

Our client is a global merchant commodities firm with expertise in the energy space, looking to hire a Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide accounting policies
• Research, analyze, and document technical accounting matters
• Provide guidance on complex transactions
• Prepare internal financial statement analyses and develop new analyses for Senior Management inquiries
• Assist in preparing monthly bank financial statements
• Lead the financial reporting process, including drafting financial statements and disclosures, and ensuring accuracy of supporting schedules
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely delivery of financial statements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• CPA preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in writing accounting memos
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP

Salary Range

$100,000 – $120,000
