About The Company Our client is a global merchant commodities firm with expertise in the energy space, looking to hire a Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide accounting policies Research, analyze, and document technical accounting matters Provide guidance on complex transactions Prepare internal financial statement analyses and develop new analyses for Senior Management inquiries Assist in preparing monthly bank financial statements Lead the financial reporting process, including drafting financial statements and disclosures, and ensuring accuracy of supporting schedules Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely delivery of financial statements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting required CPA preferred 5-7 years of relevant experience Experience in writing accounting memos Strong knowledge of US GAAP Salary Range $100,000 – $120,000 Seniority level
