Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to join a dynamic team in Westlake Village. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting skills in a supportive environment with the potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
• Match, batch, and code invoices accurately
• Handle check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Assist with customer billing, cash applications, and collections
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
• Monitor aging reports and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
• Support month-end close and general ledger activities as needed
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, with focus on AP and AR
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting a plus
