Job Overview
Haskel is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Accounting Manager who is detail-oriented, and results driven. This position requires experience in managing a team.
Requirements: 8+ years of expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance; proven track record in managing accounting operations, optimizing financial processes, and leading cross-functional teams; strong GAAP knowledge; excellent analytical and communication skills; collaborative leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensure account reconciliations are accurate and meet group deadlines; adhere to group reporting requirements including HFM uploads and load-file maintenance.
- Serve as key point of contact for external stakeholders; ensure statutory compliance, financial reporting, corporation tax, and sales tax compliance.
- Monitor and manage working capital to support sustainable growth.
- Provide meaningful insights to commercial, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Support annual audit requests by providing information to external and internal auditors.
- Assist Cost Accountant and Financial Controller with ad-hoc project requests.
- Maintain JD Edwards ERP system as a key stakeholder.
- Engage in IRX related activities such as Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecasts, IDM\'s, etc.
- Supervise current team, support cross-training, and maintain clear development paths; document and simplify processes and uphold internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or CMA certification as applicable
- 8+ years in accounting/finance with 2–3+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in improving and simplifying processes
Preferences
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP system related to accounting
- Prior experience with ERP system upgrades
Travel & Work Arrangements
- Fully site based
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $140,000 - $155,000. The range reflects various factors including skills, experience, licensure, and business needs, and accounts for geographic differences. Hiring decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case.
