Floater Commercial Litigation Legal Secretary
Location: New Jersey Office (On-site, Monday-Friday) Classification: Non-Exempt Salary: Market-based, OPEN (Applicants must indicate salary requirement)

What You'll Do:
- Provide secretarial and administrative coverage for litigation attorneys and secretarial absences as needed across departments.
- Screen and direct incoming calls, take detailed messages, and manage attorney calendars.
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents in compliance with firm standards.
- Assist with court filings via E-Filing systems for both Federal and State Courts.
- Create and edit Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents using firm-approved tools.
- Assist attorneys with docketing deadlines, time entry, expense reports, and document management.
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and ensure proper filing of all legal documentation.
- Support various practice groups as needed, often at short notice.
- 10+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary in a law firm environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, iManage, Kofax, Best Authority, Aderant, Litera Compare, Big Hand Dictation, and Compulaw.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- High attention to detail and excellent proofreading/editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team player with a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Flexibility to provide coverage across multiple attorneys, departments, or practice groups as required.
- A current Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain one within 6 months of hire).
- High school diploma required; further education or legal training a plus.
