Overview

The District seeks candidates to fill a School Counseling Secretary position at North Allegheny Senior High School, effective November 6, 2025. The School Counseling Secretary provides confidential secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to the Counseling Department and will contribute to the smooth and efficient operations of the office while maintaining records and materials and acting as a liaison and information conduit to the department, students, staff, parents, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to the Counseling Department.
• Maintain records and materials and manage office operations to ensure smooth functioning of the Counseling Office.
• Serve as a liaison and information conduit to the department, students, staff, parents, and the community.

Hours and Compensation

• Work 8 hours per day; 260-Day position.
• Starting hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Rate for the 2025-2026 School Year is $22.78 per hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.

Qualifications

• Current clearances are required and include:
• Child Abuse History Clearance
• PA Criminal Record Check
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test
