Patient Care Assistant/Unit Secretary Job at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Cit

Pay Rate: $20.63 per hour

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Functions as a PCA and Unit Secretary.

Education/Training

High School Diploma or equivalent; Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Successful completion of Nurses Aide Program (or equivalent preparation)

Experience

Knowledge of medical terminology; prior experience is preferred as PCA/US

Licensure, Registration or Certification

Current Nurse Assistant certification (or the equivalent) required. Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis.
