Cleared American Guard Job at Cape Fox Shared Services in Fort Belvoir

Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) is seeking Cleared American Guards (CAG) to support a government customer.

Qualified candidates must possess a current or active DoD Secret level security clearance. Responsibilities include:

1. Perform access control functions: Manage vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the SCS and/or SSA during operational hours.
2. Screen all entrants: Check workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the site.
3. Deny prohibited materials: Prevent entry of explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the SSM and CSP.
4. Conduct inspections: Randomly inspect site areas to ensure no prohibited materials are present.
5. Report suspicious activities: Notify the SSM of suspicious materials or incidents.
6. Monitor security systems: Oversee CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems.
7. Perform additional duties: Conduct roving patrols, escort personnel and vehicles, and other security tasks as required by the SSM.
8. Operate in a 24/7 environment: Ensure site and facility security around the clock.
9. Respond to alarms: Take appropriate action as needed.
10. Escort duties: Escort employees and visitors.
11. Manage access control posts: Man posts and perform vehicle inspections, process visitors using a computer system.
